A Safe Space to Heal from the Inside Out.
Guiding adults to connect to their innate wisdom and infinite healing ability within themselves.
Hello! I’m Erin
Do you feel stuck in patterns of worry, self-doubt, or exhaustion—no matter how hard you try to change them? You don’t have to do this alone.
I offer a deeply effective and evidence-based approach to therapy called Internal Family Systems (IFS) that helps you heal from within. I believe you already have everything you need to grow, heal, and feel whole—my role is to be a steady, calming presence as you reconnect with your true self and move toward lasting change.
I began my career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2008 after receiving my Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, following my Bachelor of Social Work from James Madison University in 2006. I was drawn to clinical social work because I wanted to help diverse populations access mental health care, and I also had the lived experience of being helped by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient mental health, integrated mental health and medical care, and private practice. I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner, and this is the primary approach and foundation for my practice. I have also been trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities including: EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, CBT for Chronic Pain, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. As a result of my experiences, I have an understanding of the many issues that can affect mental health, and I am able to integrate my areas of expertise to provide a holistic approach to healing.

High-Achieving Adults Who Feel Overwhelmed
On the outside, you’re holding everything together. Inside, you feel drained, anxious, or like something is missing. Maybe you learned early on to be strong for others, making it hard to slow down or ask for help now. You might have grown up hearing messages that made you doubt your worth or feel like you had to prove yourself to be enough. Stress or past experiences may still affect you—showing up as anxiety, depression, chronic pain/disease, or struggles in relationships.
In our work together, we’ll untangle these patterns so you can feel more at ease, more balanced, and more yourself.
Older Adults in Life Transitions
This stage of life brings big shifts—changes in work, relationships, health, or identity. You may feel a sense of loss, loneliness, or uncertainty about what comes next.
With a background in medical social work and geriatric psychiatry, I’m here to help you process grief, reconnect with what matters, and find peace and meaning in this next chapter of your life.
The most important factor in having positive outcomes in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to give you more information about how I can help, and to see if we are a good fit.
