Many of us struggle with patterns of distressing thoughts, emotions, physical symptoms, and behaviors. If you feel you can’t change these patterns no matter how hard you have tried, I can offer an effective and transformative psychotherapy called Internal Family Systems (IFS).

IFS is an evidenced based therapy that offers a different approach to pain and suffering in life based on the knowledge that you have all the resources within you to heal and grow.

My goal is to be a calming center while you heal your inner world, and my passion is when people realize they are inherently worthy and capable of doing this.

I began my career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2008. I was drawn to clinical social work because I wanted to help diverse populations access mental health care, and I also had the lived experience of being helped by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient mental health, integrated mental health and medical care, and private practice. I am certified as an Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner, and this is the primary approach and foundation for my practice. I have also been trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities including: EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, CBT for Chronic Pain, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. As a result of my experiences, I have an understanding of the many issues that can affect mental health, and I am able to integrate my areas of expertise to provide a holistic approach to healing.

My Approach

I provide a person-centered approach building on your innate strengths to overcome life’s difficulties. My therapeutic interventions are guided by my IFS and social work background. I am strengths-based, nonjudgemental, insight-oriented, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I strive to create a safe environment in which you feel fully accepted and understood for the unique individual that you are.
